2011 max sv.. making a crazy winding sound.. while making the sound the gears work fine. Once no sound no gears..... idk I added cvt fluids checked vacuum lines... Bout ready to part out with a bad transmission.. Any ideas before I scrap it out?

 

Are you sure of fluid level in transmission? It should be NS2 Nissan CVT fluid. Car should be WELL warmed up. Transmission fluid temperature should be around 150F to 160F, needs driving for like half an hour in weather of 40F to 50F...
