Drain and refill cvt transmission or just add

I have a 2009 Nissan maxima sv with a CVT transmission when I bought the car from a local dealership it had 85k on it now it has 98k I took it to a Nissan dealership they gave me a list of things that needs to be done to it one of which was transmission fluid now they recommended that I used their brand of transmission fluid for my car but I have 6 quarts of Castrol transmax CVT transmission fluid now due to the mileage on the car should I have the dealership do the drain and refill or simply just and more fluid to the transmission

Use Nissan CVT fluid. This is not a cheap manual transmission. And check the forums for the CVT filter as well.

Drain and fill it... Don't need Nissan fluid.. Any cvt fluid is approved.. Nissan does not make their own fluid.. Funny how most people think they do..lol.. Its very simple a 15 min job.. Valvoline Syn CVT fluid is a great choice.. It won't ruin the warranty. Its about 4 or so qts going back in..
Do not take it to the Dealer.. its starting their slow months.. They will leave you with your pants down with no lube leaving there. If you have any Mechanical ability.. This car is so easy to work on..

A drain and fill is quicker than changing the oil. I change my fluid every 50k miles and at 148k plus miles I'm about ready to do my 3rd change. No cvt issues at all.
