Oem Rear spoiler dealer installed wires spitted and not soldered $%$&%??

In 2015, I bought a 2013 premium with the OEM Rear Spoiler installed by the dealer

Rear Spoiler wire
. This morning I was investigating a random problem with the rear view camera and found out that the wires for the rear light of the spoiler are splitted and not soldered and wrapped with electrical tape.

My understanding is that Nissan did not prewired the car to add a OEM Spoiler but the Spoiler came with a connector . WTF !?

While I've seen stranger things in my 40+ years of car ownership...I can't imagine a dealership's technician being this inept/lax/uncaring to wire it this way. Are you sure the dealer installed the spoiler? Did the p.o. tell you this or do you have some dealer invoice/worksheet? If the latter, I would certainly not hesitate to take the car in to any Nissan dealership and voice my complaint. They'll probably politely tell you to go pound sand but...you never know.

The first owner confirm to me that it was the dealer who installed it. Sorel-Tracy
