Dek swap advice

I have a 4th gen with 330k miles ive been putting a decent amount of work into but i wanna do the dek swap
Curious as to if its a direct bolt on fit or if there will need to be adjustments
Does anyone have any tips or advance please let me know!

There are countless ways to do the install; from just the upper intake plenum to the whole engine. There is no direct swap. You have to make custom parts and reuse a bit of 4th gen parts at the very least.

Here's my intake swap:

Very interesting info, im trying to swap the whole engine not just the upper intake
As for custom parts you mean like adapter plates for the tb and egr ?

Is your engine worn out? Nearly no one installed a complete DEK engine if their current engine was properly maintained and running strong.

The emissions equipment and upper and lower intakes are the real differences. You have to do the same work to make it run in on a 4th gen ECU no matter how in depth you go. It involves swapping over/retaining everything the 4th gen ECU uses. You can't just plop in the DEK and drive.

Its fairly simple and damn near direct-bolt on if using all 5th gen 00-01 maxima parts. ONLY thing you would need to do is splice the injector clips/connectors for the 00 and up injectors which is not hard to do.

Check this site http://boredmder.com/tatanko/00VI.html

That is what I used when I did my 00vi swap on my 98. I did my homework and prep'd for the install so I wouldn't have any hiccups or surprises.
The 00/01 lower manifold will bolt directly to the 95-99 Block and the fuel rail and upper manifold of course. Rear valve cover also bolts right up to allow you to use 00-01 Rear Ignition Coil Packs. And they plug up to your existing coil pack clips/connectors.

On the tatanko site, my setup was just like #3 using all 5th gen parts with a pathfinder throttlebody but it requires a adapter plate to bolt to manifold and keeping 4th gen stock IACV but also used a adapter that I made to make it work.

Would you be willing to make me adapter plates for some $$$

5th gen injectors means you'll need a tune.
