Considering a Chilton's subscription($30/yr)

I just got a 2014 maxima w/42k miles.
I do ALL my own maintenance & repairs.
I've been looking for a good guidance on this car, & found the Chilton's site & their $30/yr subscription. I'm thinking that's the way to go, for guidance of non-professional me.
I'm a retired engineering professional, who's been driving & maintaining 10-15 yr old cars for 50yrs.
My immediately preceding car was an '06 audi a6. For that, I had to buy the VAG monitoring software & interface, the audi fsm & an electronic "Bentley" manual for monitoring, troubleshooting, reference & guidance.
For my '13 Triumph motorcycle, I have the triumph fsm & an aftermarket computer interface(dealertool).
I'm just trying to figure out what I need with the Maxima.
Also, what type of interface am I going to need with the car?

No need for Chiltons when you have access to the FSM. Download a copy in case it disappears.

^ Agreed. You wont' get better information than what's in the Factory Service Manual (FSM). I also have a free link in my signature.

+2 ... the FSM in combination with a $15 - $20 Haynes manual is all I've ever needed.

If you are going all in, I think Chilton's is fine. I personally have AlldataDIY and while it is ok (it was the only thing available when I bough my 2009 back in 2009, I have always been partial to Chilton's.) Re the interface: Consult III
