Question about a green LED bulb in dash

Anyone know the purpose of this bulb? It has never lit up, so I’m not sure whats the purpose of it.

That is not factory. I would trace the wires and see where it goes.

Weird, it looks like the security system bulb, except mine is red and it says "Security" or something above it. On my '96 anyway.
