Just purchased 99 maxima 179k no check engine light. Drives very smoothly but it started to idle high after driving and going into park. Noticed battery display on dash cluster would kind of dim, fully light up then go out(not exactly in that order). Ontop of that it would almost stall out like a stutter in the gas pedal. Then tonight it just randomly shut off on me but turned over no problem, starting right backup. Wondering could it be vaccume lines, cam shaft sensor, alternator, dirty battery terminals, fuel pump, fuel filter. What has me confused is the check engine light isnt on or its been disabled some how. Please help

 

It's most likely your mass air flow sensor getting faulty.
