06 Maxima SL - Part out???
06 Maxima SL - Part out???
I own this car and I've been getting p2135 codes.
Been thinking of gambling and replacing the throttle body but it could end up costing 1k. No idea if I could DIY it.
IF it "works" and fails again or another issue comes, I don't think it would be worth tossing money into it constantly.
Trade in values range from 450 to 1.6k
All the power options work, AC has a leak in the pipe it's "drivable" since the power loss issue is random but it's kinda dangerous.
I kinda considered driving it til someone recks me and I just take the insurance payout on a no fault accident and then just get a car I want that's reasonable.
Worth the hassle of trying to part it?
If I got another car my max is going to be around 22-24k prefer 18-20k.
Cars I'm looking at are: 370z touring ( non convert ) with under 30k miles. Always wanted one and prices are good atm.
Only other option I liked was a Model 3 Tesla ( 45k range outfitted ) but it seems reasonable after rebates and gas savings. <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->https://tradevenue.se/
I NEED a car that can accelerate quickly due to driving conditions around here. 3.5l v6 would be the lowest in HP I'd go, not sure about 2.0 or 3.0 turbo engines, heard they can be a pain in the *** with lag.
Ideas?
