Hey guys got a 2018 Maxima SV and, reaching out to the most fuego community because I don't want to switch back to Team Samsung.

Carplay doesn't work at all. I'm using an Apple USB cable plugged into USB1 on an 11 Pro Max on iOS 13.2.2. My Maxima reads it as an iPOD.

Do I need to factory reset my radio? Is this even possible?

On a side note: Maybe I messed something something up. When I plugged in the phone the very first time there was a pop up saying something like new ipod or some crap and i clicked okay. I've never had an issue with Android Auto.

i have in SV as well 18, yea that first thing that popped up was stating if its in ipod your suppose to hit no, i think if you unplug it from the usb and plug up your phone again, should ask you again hit no and then car play should start up that's what i did with mine.
