New to Nissan's
Hey Folks,
I'm a lifelong Mustang guy and have had modified Mustangs pretty much ever since I learned to drive. My most recent baby was a 2007 GT with Koni yellows, HR Race springs, Shelby GT500 front brakes and numerous other modifications. Well last month some jackass made an illegal left turn in front of me and the insurance company total'd my car. I recently turned 50 and decided that maybe it was time to get a more "practical" car. I settled on a 2018 Maxima SV because it had decent power, looks decent and I'm getting tired of driving a manual in the always traffic-clogged SF Bay Area streets.
So I'm completely new to Maxima's and even Nissan's. I've always driven American cars. One of the reasons I chose the Maxima was that I thought I wouldn't want to modify it but I'm already getting the itch. I'll check the forums for advice on simple mods like shocks, struts and springs.
Anyway just wanted to say "hi" and try to go easy on me since I'm a complete Maxima noob.
Thanks,
Darien
