Coilover installation video

Hey Folks,

I'm going to be buying Ksport coilovers for my 2018 SV. I'm fairly mechanically inclined but not sure if I want to tackle this myself. I've scoured Youtube but haven't really found any videos of Ksports being installed on a Maxima. Does anyone know where a Maxima installation might be?

Thanks

The front is pretty straight forward. The rear you'll have to remove the springs which are a PITA, but other than that it's a piece of cake. I have made a video on how to easily remove the rear springs on the 8th gen.

Also, is this still an issue when removing Eibach lowering springs? Thinking about getting some coilovers

well I mean using a 2nd spring compressor so that you could remove the spring instead of using the lever hoist?

Also, does this issue still happen with removing Eibach springs? I’m thinking about switching over to coilovers

I ended up just going the coilover route and calling a local mobile mechanic. Got them installed for $400. But they did indeed struggle with the rears.

Probably money well spent, especially if it was somewhat difficult to do the rears. So this guy came to you and did the job? In your driveway? if so you got a deal!
