Anyone hear any Electronic "fax-like" sounds from there 19/20?
It's hard to explain but ever since I have gotten my '20 I hear random faint sounds that remind me of a fax or old school modems. This happens when parked, unlocked or locked and all kinds of hours of the day/night.
I think it has something to do with the sonar system but have not had it into the dealer yet.
Has anyone heard these noises? I can't see how it would be normal, while it's not loud it's very noticeable.

Well, I had this happen in my 2002 Altima SE, I know exactly the sound you speak of, because that was exactly how I discribed it to service. The had to replace the Odom cluster (Not sure what it was called) and reprogram it with my mileage. I would assume it might be the same thing.......very odd sound.
I mean I am sure it could be anything but I notice it when I am up close and it sounds mostly coming from the front bumper/engine compartment.
I thought at first it was the sonar sensors with the keyfob in my pocket triggering when I get ready to wash it... But it happens when I am further away without the fob.
When I bring it in for its first oil change I will have the dealership look into it. It's very random but happens often enough that they will definitely witness it.

How long does it go on for?
My BMW 5-series had this type of noise when it was powering down - or powering up - accessories while parked/locked. As to not drain the battery.
Possibly, it could be the Nissan Connect (telematics) system receiving messages (no joke). Remember, it's technically always active, even at low voltage - that's how it works (it's awaken by cellular, does something, then shuts off).

It's calling back to the mother-ship, sending reports and receiving instructions... for your upcoming abduction...
Mine clicks its solenoids like crazy in the side vents, every time I adjust the temperature, sometimes even without doing that. It sounds exactly like when some slimy alien blinks in a horror movie.
