Trunk water leak

I haven't driven my Maxima in a couple weeks. Today I opened the trunk and noticed a jacket and other items wet on the left side of trunk area. We have had a ton of rain in North Carolina the last few weeks and I'm sure this was the source. Is this a known issue with these cars? I have only owned this car about 2 months. I assume this is from weather strip area but I wanted to known if this is common or a freak deal.

Having had two of these, a 2016 and 2019, this would be the 1st complaint I have heard of. If you have a sunroof, have the roof drains checked though.

The trunk should also have drains which could be blocked.
