That could potentially be risky re: chips, unbalanced weight, etc.
Why not just buy Nissan darker colored wheels (i.e. Midnight Edition, 2019/20 SR, 2019/20 Platinum Reserve, etc.)?
There have got to be junkyard cars somewhere...

Assuming you want to paint the whole wheel including the "rim".>> I agree with Lindros, >>>unless you have the wheels removed and tires demounted and painted by a pro. Don't do it.

Powder Coating

I have a 19 sv and had my rims powder coated gloss black. No issues whatsoever and they look amazing! Price was $500.

If you’re just looking for a budget friendly means of changing the aesthetics of your wheels I say plasti dip them. It’s easy fast and affordable and comes in a ton of colors and finishes. And it can be done with your tires still on the wheel. Hell the wheels don’t even need to come off the car. Not to mention if you don’t like the out come you can peel it off. There are tons of videos on YouTube doing so. Dipyourcar.com is a great source for such a thing. I’ve dipped my entire motorcycle including the wheels and have not had any problems. And I think a motorcycle would be way more sensitive to any “unbalancing” issues which I’ve never heard of before with someone painting their wheels. I’m guessing that would have to be an *** ton of paint to do that. But I’ve even changed the color a few times. I mean it’s cheaper than powder coating for sure even if you get a deal for $500. As with anything pros and cons for all. But budget friendly DIY project that you can knock out in a day and leave your tires on doing so and peel off any over spray... I say give it a try. These are some dipped wheels for reference. Either way good luck in what you choose.
