Air compressor or serpentine belt? Help!

Hi I own a 2010 maxima SV. Last month my ac compressor went out. I replaced my compressor and condenser (condenser was cracked due to a deer hitting my front end) with Nissan new parts. I also had my serpentine belt replaced while I was at it because my belt was trashed from the compressor going out. My mechanic said the belt may make noise until it “settles”. So it’s been a month and now I’m noticing a clicking noise. What could be the issue now? Or is this normal?

I have never heard of a noisy belt getting better over time. If it really is an oem belt, then the compressor was not installed (aligned) correctly. I would check first that the belt is indeed oem.
