Do I need to reprogram ECU after installing fuel Injectors?
Replacing the fuel injectors in my 95 Maxima and hoping someone can tell me if I need to enter any type of code in the ecm after installation? Or...is the job as easy as just replacing the injectors then starting the engine? Thanks in advance for any help/advice you can give

First of all
have you already bought injectors .
if so, what brand. Our cars only like certain ones.
the existing injectors are rebuildable. 18 bucks each.
there are a lot of other things which should be done while the upper intake manifold is off.
Do those things now, or pu will be taking that manifold off again soon. Or several times.
you need to oil the injector o rings.
No programming needs to be done afterwards.
Are they on order, or do you already have them.
You might be better off having your existing ones rebuilt.
Why are you replacing your injectors. How is your car acting up.
I would also replace at least the following items: (you need to take off the manifold to replace the bank 1 injectors)
Intake manifold gaskets (upper, lower)
Knock sensor (under the lower intake)
Bank 1 valve cover gasket (near to the firewall)
Taking off the manifold is a pain. Do those when you have it off.

You dont need to punch in a code or anything, but it would not hurt to reset your ecu after installing the new injectors to clear any check engine codes.
I recommend going through the forum before you begin your job. When you think you read enough, go back and read some more. Swapping out the injectors is not so bad. Make sure you lube the o-rings with a bit oil before installing. I have replaced all of my injectors already and car is running fine with no leaks or misfire. I got my set of fuel injectors off RockAuto and paid around $70 for a remanufactured set. Like JVG suggested, you COULD send them out and have them rebuilt, but its up to you.
I was not able to get the screws that hold the injectors in place with a normal screwdriver by hand. Those screws were on there tight. I ended up using my battery powered impact gun on the highest torque setting to break the screws loose (I used a new bit and was careful not strip the screws).
Once the screws are lose and you remove the metal piece on top of the injectors, thread the screws back in place and use them as leverage to extract the injectors out of their chambers. I ended up taking two old flat head screw drivers, heated them up and bent them into a curve shape to be able to pry out the injectors.
For re installation, i set the new (oiled) injector in place and put the metal piece back on. Using 2 phillips screwdrivers, i set the screws back in place and it sits the injectors perfectly. The job can be done within the day if you take your sweet time.

Aq12 has good information.
you should buy a couple or a set of JIS or Japanese Industrial Standard screwdrivers Harbor Frieight sells them.
Regular Phillips screwdrivers will strip the srcrews on the injection sytem.
remove the injector caps. Put the screws back in halfway down. I used L shapeed Allen wrenches to lever the injectors out of the hole they live in. The short end of the Allen wrenche's fit into a hole on the side of the injector. The screw acts like a fulcrum on a teeter totter.

Add 6 Injector grommets to the list. Felpro makes them and they are cheap at RockAuto
I bet the PVC valve has never been replaced either. Check that grommet too.
Intermotor/Standard makes new Fuel Pressure Regulators. You're in there that deep and it's 25 years old. Fuel hoses and clamps too.
Do it right and you're done.
And JIS Philips is a no brainer. .Vessel on Amazon.

The installation of the injectors won't require you to reset the Ecu or do anything to the Ecu. The injectors have two pins that are hooked into the injectors harness once the injectors are installed and the harness is ready to be connected to the injectors thats runs with the main engine harness this harness connects to the Ecu. The Ecu will recognize everything normal unless you missed a injector or it's a bad injectors causing the Ecu to throw a ses light on.
