WTB: Smart Entrance Control Module for 2000 Maxima GLE

Anyone know where I can find one? IM having the power door locks, map lights, dome light and rear defog not working situation. All fuses check out OK. Nissan wants a fortune for this piece. Let me know. Thanks!

Where is this unit located and what's the part number? I'm parting out an 01 AE so I might have one.

that Tan box right there is the unit. Located under the driver side area. Under the steering wheel above the pedals. Unplug the 2 plugs and wiggle the box off the metal holder. Let me know if you have that. Thank you

Thanks for the pic. I'll try to remove it after lunch. With it removed, will I just lose the power door lock feature?

power door look feature. Map light dome light rear defrost and alarm from the key fob. You can still manually lock the door

if it breaks off the part holding it that’s ok. I’ll just zip tie it to mine if I had to lol

lol okay wish me luck! I sold all 4 exterior door handles to Slamrod, so I'm manually opening the doors anyway.

The unit I removed is white in colour & has 1 large & 2 smaller harnesses plugging into it, so I'm not sure if it'll work. Part# is 28595-4Y900. Maybe you can check Courtesyparts website to see if this part # superceeds yours?

thank you for the effort. Unfortunately that part will not fit. I thought that all 2000-2003 maximas had the same part but it looks like it’s a different part. I apologize for that man. Thank you for the effort.

No problem bro! I already had the lower dash off so it wasn't difficult. I was also surprised as it's an 01 SE.
