Hello all! Just scored a 2000 Maxima GLE with 120k! Fully loaded. This car was babied and its in great condition. But Im having the problem with the power door locks, map lights, dome light and Rear Defrost not working. I have read all over that it goes to the Smart Entrance Control Unit which Nissan wants a fortune for. I have checked all of the fuses and everything is working properly. Does anyone know where I can find one of these. Im looking all over the internet and its almost impossible to find. I hate the fact that I have to manually open the door everytime to get into the car and the darn lights not working. Have the original Keyfob and everything that came with the car. If anyone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Check the junkyard that's your best bet. While your there mind as well get whatever else the car needs.

Yeah. It seems like that will have to be my route. I refuse to pay over $600 for that part when Thats almost half of what I got the whole car for. Although in reality its worth it. The Car has really low miles for the age and it will last me a long time. But I still cant process that sort of price. Just wanted to see if maybe anyone had one laying around somewhere. Seems like this is an issue for this year Max.
