Used 7gm owner should I get a cvt flush?

I recently bought a 2010 Nissan Maxima sv, I went to get my inspection and the garage told me I was 2 quarts low cvt fluid and recommends I get it flushed. Car has 147,000 and I haven’t found any service records of the car being flushed before. I don’t want it to stop working after getting a flush so I’d like some advice from others who know what the best route would be. Do I get the flush? Should I just change the fluids? Should I change 2 quarts at a time and drive a couple hundred miles in between? Thanks

Make sure you use only Nissan NS-2 Fluid for the refill.

okay thank you, the dealership told me they were going to do ns3 but I told them I want the ns2 I’m letting them do it because I get the whole sale discount my cousin owns a used cars dealership and I have never done it before. I did change the brakes and rotors, myself also added Toyo proxy sports a/s yesterday

His and hers! Cool. New cars, no history, go through/replace everything/all consumables. Pop the hood and jack it up and get under it once a month or so for a while and get to know it. Lt. Leary in this forum has a 7th gen pushing 500k trouble-free mi.

yeah that’s awesome, so far with both cars we have gone through all the maintenance hers is a 09 with 129k on it and I have the 10 with 147k. Clean titles etc I went with a 7gm because I had a 04 6gm 6speed and I loved it I owned it from 90k-200k only replaced the alternator at 130, regular fluid changes, brakes rotors etc so we are happy with our decision and the fact a lot of people share advice and all that on here with each other

I have mothers clay bar but before I clay bar it I have Adams iron remover I’m going to use after I wash the car, then clay bar, then I have the Adams surface prep before I ceramic coating it. I also bought the cerakote ceramic headlight kit to clean up the lights even tho they really aren’t bad at all

Consider a paint correction before a ceramic coating...you want to protect a nice coat not a damaged one.

I second that advice. Drain f fill. Also there is a filter that can be replaced. Nissan will claim it’s not there but it is. I had mine done at 50,000.

I bought my 09 Maxima SV sport in March. It had 111,000 miles on it. I drove it about a month then went and had my CVT fluid flushed. Just from reading on here it sounded like the right thing to do.
