Alternative CVT fluids

I'm sure it's taboo to question an alternative to the use of Nissan CVT NS2 in our transmissions but with a Maxima that is really getting up there in miles, I was thinking of closing the frequency of my flush and fills.
Common sense might dictate that since I haven't had any problems with my transmission, stick with what you've been using but I'd assume most people fill their engine oil pans with something other than Nissan motor oil.
I'm going to add a youtube video that I thought was interesting

I have NO affiliation with the video other than I thought it was interesting

Amsoil make good oils for sure (I once used their manual transmission fluid in my previous 2002 Maxima 6MT and it was a night and day improvement over whatever fluid was in there), BUT I get REAR CAREFUL with anyone preaching their products, it's a "shady" MLM scheme, so if I work for (with) Amsoil as a dealer, I will not leave you alone unless I use each and every effort to convince you how great Amsoil oil or fluid is. With their sus imiging of our vs their oil tests. Think: independent testing and conflict of interest.
BTW, their fluids do not carry any approvals. One of the reasons you don't find them at major retailers.
Just my 2 cents. I might be wrong and I'm not saying their products are necessarily bad products, you may argue the opposite.

No argument from me, one way or the other.
I thought the video was interesting as far as who manufactures Nissan CVT transmission and who makes their OEM brand oil.
i thought the MSDs were also noteworthy. As a matter of fact, I almost used Valvoline synthetic CVT in my last drain and fill, but rethought it after looking at the MSD, and noting a viscosity discrepancy.
Again, I am not standing behind anything in that video, but some of his points seem to be able to be substantiated
