Nissan connect

I have a 2016 platinum maxima. I purchased it almost 18 months ago and have put on a little over 24k miles. I am now at 47k miles. I just renewed my Nissan connect subscription. It’s a very helpful app. I have one question. In the app there is a speed notification setting that allows your car to be notified when you go over a certain speed. I have two speeds set. But only receive notification for one. My question is does anyone know if it only alerts you for one speed.or am I doing something wrong?

I only use it for remote start and occasionally lock and unlock. Call or Email the support staff. I’m sure they could help.

I called Nissan connect and found out that even though you can set 3 speed alerts. Only one can used at any given time.

Just received a /12 price offer for Nissan Connect. Earlier, I have tried the software during the free period for both my old 2016 and latest 2019 Maxima Platinums. The verdict is that the software is pretty lame and not work paying for. There is much in the earlier postings on the pros and cons. Good luck.

I use it for remote start and occasionally lock and unlock. It’s worth it to me after my car sits in the parking lot at work and bakes all day. The lot is not in range of the key fob remote start so Connect is my option. I don’t use it for anything else.

I have the Nissan Connect and I like it, it's something that most could live without. Here in Phoenix, AZ in the summer time, I like that I can start the car when i'm on my way to my car in my work vehicle so that way when I get to my car it will be cool inside. If i forget to lock my car door I can locked it no matter where I'am just incase I forgot too. If anyone mess with the car you will get an alert on your phone. example, if the alarm goes off you will receive an alert on your phone through the APP. Plus it will always show you where the car is. My Car Finder will give you the power to see where your car is at all time, Even if you let someone borrow the car, the app will show you where the car is.

Tyrone,

You make a good case for the Connect software. I can get 500 ft range on the standard remote start which is all I need.
