Used parts maxima 2016-2020

Hi.
I'm from Poland, I'm planning to buy a damaged maxima. From 2016-2020. I would prefer a facelift model but we'll see what I can buy in my budget. Where can I look for body parts with shipment to Poland? Possibly parts for conversion to a facelift model. Is there a point in converting such a car or is it better to wait for a damaged one at a good price and add to the 2019-2020 models?
There are very few of these cars in Poland, which is related to the low availability of parts.

Thanks for your post. From my point of view, even if you get a good deal on a damaged Maxima, there are the prohibitive shipping costs for the car as well as the additional replacement parts you will need. I'd just shop for a good condition 2019 Platinum and gather shipping container prices to your location in Poland. The 2019 2020 Maximas have lots of refinements over the earlier models but you have to decide which you like and is it worth the additional money. Let us know what you decide.

I have to buy a damaged car because buying a car without an accident is not worth it. For example, bringing a car worth $ 9,000 to my house with taxes and transport is about $ 16,500.
Missed auctions for the 2019 copart maxima hit the left rear fender which sold for $ 8,800.
In my country, the cost of such a repair is about $ 2,000-2500. A total of $ 19,000 ready, and the prices of such models for me, although they are very little, are about $ 31,000. The only problem is with the availability of some parts, so if I do not find something in Poland, I will have to bring it from the USA.

It's def possible to do a facelift conversion but you'll need to get new headlights too since the dimensions of those changed post facelift too. This article comes to mind: Swapping 2016-2018 8thgen Nissan Maxima Headlights / Tail Lights to 2019+ (my4dsc.com)

Thank you for your answer.
Buying and shipping lamps to Poland is not a problem. I am more concerned about buying bumpers. Where to look for it?
amazon, ebay, rockauto?
Do I have to replace the entire mufflers or only the chrome tips when replacing the rear bumper?
Were any other changes applied in addition to the lamps and bumpers on the 2019-2020 model?Something has changed technically?

Greetings

The tail lamps in the 2019s and 2020s are all pure LED and should be plug and play for the earlier 2016+ models. You should be able to weld the quad exhaust tips in the earlier mufflers, but you will need a new rear bumper with the modified lower valance panel redesigned to allow for the quad tips. Maybe someone else here can offer a supply contact for the source and foreign shipping to you of these parts. Rock Auto might have some suggestions beyond contacting a local Nissan dealer.
Keep us posted on what you do

I will probably be looking for the 2019-2020 models. Converting the rear lamps is a low cost, but the bumpers and exhausts are getting unattractively priced. It is even more difficult to find only used parts at attractive prices. In our country, in Europe, there is no problem with the purchase of used parts for European cars, so I thought that in the USA you can also get such parts on various websites.
Thank you for your help.

If you have an iPhone, download the app:
iSeeCars - (three cars on top of an orange rectangle).

Florida is the main export for vehicles to the Caribbean
New Jersey is the main export to Africa and others.

you can find new cars mainly in Florida, not eligible for USA roads for under $10K - flood/water damaged from previous hurricanes.

try that, expand on your search radius, read the descriptions, modify the advance search.

good luck

I have one more question about the SR version.
Is the suspension much stiffer than the platinum, SL version?

but will choose a SR again over a SL, or platinum.

Thanks for the answer.
I will be looking for a platinium or Sl. My family will not be satisfied with SR because of the hard suspension

I agree. The 2019 Platinum also went with larger 19" wheels (not rims) and a 40 series profile so the ride is OK but you must keep the tire pressures close to 33-35 lbs.
