Hello fellow Max drivers,

This morning after I drove to work, about 18 miles, I hit the button to turn my car off and I heard a quick chirp type sound. I have owned this car for about a year now and have never heard this before. I turned the car back on and off and heard the sound again. Has anyone heard or noticed this sound?

Well anything from bad Brake Master Cylinder, to fan belt, to door locks (I have noticed if I try to lock an already locked door I can hear a chirp at times) Post an audio file and we can guess with a little more assurance!

 

Thank you sir. Don't like those first two but I guess we'll see. I'll see if I can get audio when I get home.

 

Man, so when I get home it doesn't do. And when I got to work this morning didn't do it. I'm not crazy, I know I heard a little half chirp.

 

It is like watching water boil....it never boils when watched!

 

Yeah, not happening anymore. It was like, you know when you turn the car off the doors unlock? It was simultaneous with the door unlock sound. But oh well. I will continue to monitor it.
