My issue is that for some reason the climate control will only stay on recirculate if the a/c is also on. When I turn the a/c button off, it will switch over to outside air intake. I know that a/c will kick on in recirculate when using the defrost. But now it the a/c button will always stay on when in recirculate.
I don't understand why. Before I could have the heat blasting in recirculate with out the a/c button on.
Any thoughts or experience?

 

I too wish that i could recirculate with the ac off at times but that is by design. Not sure of the engineering logic, but I can assure you it is operating correctly for our 7th gens.

 

Really? So strange. I definitely was able to have the heat on the floor in recirculate without the a/c button on for like 4 years. Now it doesn't. Very strange
