does anyone know if the android radio with navigation [no 360 birds eye] has a AV plug in the rear of the unit

I saw your post and given the earlier discussions, it may well be there is more to this mod than just doing what you did. Is the camera wiring there at the trunk? I don't think so, at least not on the cheaper models. Is there some sort of dealer programming for the body computer? Maybe a whole new body computer module is needed? Seems that one of our earlier posters had an S model and finally gave up in most of the Platinum style upgrades and just traded up. These cars seem to be moving to a closed system architecture where the wiring, accessories, is specific to the model of Maxima. Maybe someone out there has tried and succeeded. If so we'd love to hear about it.

im sure nissan does it like others and like aftermarket models are where all cameras are fed into a module where the cameras are stitched together and then the CAN connection takes it to the display.
i could get an aftermarket camera system and then use my rear camera connection but that means it goes to the display and then back to the rear camera then back to the display which should work but who knows how well.
ive spent hours looking for a pinout but theres none to be found
but ill get it
