2016 maxima wireless charger ?

was wondering if anyone here has used or does us a wireless charger / charging pad with their 2016- present maxima?

was gifted one, and the screen would show as if it was trying to read a USB , and the charger would basically toggle from charging to not charging. my guess is that it is not compatible.
but i’m not sure why.

so if anyone out there has one that does work and charge their phone perfectly fine. please send over any info thanks.

If you are trying to use the built in usb ports to plug in the wireless charger it's likely not providing amperage. They are absolute trash. You need to get a quick charge or at least high wattage accessory outlet to usb adapter and plug the wireless charging dock/pad into that. My phone charges wirelessly with adjustable voltage up to 20v and then tapers down to the 5v usb / battery standard. This isn't supported either with the built in USB outlets.... so it would take forever to charge my phone in the car without it. I get like 35 percent charge in my 10 min drive to work. What kind of phone do you have and I can recommend a decent one you can pick up on Amazon.
