Radiator drain

How do I drain the coolant out of the radiator? I see no kind of drain plug. Do I have to just remove the big hose?

The drain plug is a Phillips head screw. It is on the bottom of the radiator on the driver side.

You will need to bleed air from the radiator after you fill it. yOu

Raise the front of the car over one foot. Either by parking on a hill, or on jack stands. Jack
The radiator cap needs to be off.

Run the car until it reaches operating temperature so the thermostat opens. Blip the throttle a few times so that the trapped air in the system can burp out. Add more coolant. Repeat a few times till no more coolant can fit in the radiator.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Here is what the drain plug looks like. Be sure to open your radiator cap on the top to allow the coolant drain through the drain plug easily.

Just disconnect the lower hose.
