Regarding maxima GPS

Hello everybody I'm an old man and I need help with the GPS in my 2020 Maxima Platinum.
Like I said I am old and NEED HELP!
I got lost today and i was unable to put an address into my GPS. Cell phone was dead otherwise I would have used GOOGLE Maps.

I thought no problem. Just slip the address into my GPS. Well guess what I am now qualified to fly an F16.
But still can't put in a simple address.
Yes Im old so don't laugh.

So good old you tube should have videos on the GPS yup now I am twice as confused and still can't put a simple address in. And by the way they took away my F16 certification.
HELP PLEASE

I need a step by step guide on how to put in a simple address.
Can anybody help me I would be forever grateful.

Wouldn't it look silly to have a phone holder on the dash for my I phone with all the electronics wifi and such?

Here you go, instructions are within these printed pages.

You should have a hard copy in your glovebox, or you can download a free, no cost copy.

Thanks for the reply I have all the manuals but there is too much information and nothing is clear to putting in simple address going from point A to B.
I will never use the GPS to its full capabilities as I never travel.
but there are times I need to go across the city to a new address.
My car has 2500 miles on it as it is rarely driven. So as you can see in the time I have had it I would never absorb and retain all there is to know about the gps. It would be different if I were an Uber driver but 2500 miles in 2 years is not enough time spent in the seat to get used to the gauges and control locations.

Push MAP on the screen and then touch Destination on the Launch Bar at the bottom of the main display. Then pick the way you want to enter the info. Street Address is usually the easiest if you know the address. Then follow the instructions on the screen. The car cannot be moving to do this. You. An also use voice dictation to enter the info but I find that a bit less reliable in entering the info. This info is on page 6-10 of the manual. Hope this helps.

Thank you I am going to try this tomorrow.
I have to wait at the hospital for an hour, no better time and place.
I will report back!

Actually l looked at my screen this morning. I have a 2017 so the layout may be different. If it is like mine, there should be a label on the bottom row called Navi. If there is push that one instead of Map. The street address option will be right there on the screen.

if you want to make sure your likely to remember how to set a address you need to make sure you do it on a regular basis.
far too many times the reason us old timers forget the most easiest task is due to lack of regular repetitiousness.
