2023 Maxima trim packages?

Read an article today that Nissan is scrapping the Maxima after 2023. My wife is wanting to order a 2022, but I'm inclined to wait to order a 2023. Any word on special trim packages or changes for 2023?

I visited my Nissan dealer this past weekend and was told that the 2023 model would just be a carry-over from 2022 with no major changes or updates. He hinted that Nissan was looking at a re-design for 2024 but he didn't give me any details.

2023 is going to be the final year, Nissan already has announced that couple months ago they will be retiring then storied nameplate, you won’t see a 9th gen. As for a EV goes won’t see one for a while as far as the Maxima nameplate since the world wants crossover and suv. So better hurry before you decided because current car market is limited dude to production demand since I have been seeing a lot of dealer are only ordering as they sell don’t expect to be stocked flushed with cars.

They are retiring the gas-powered Maxima, but my inside connections are saying 2024 is the birth of an EV Maxima. I guess we'll see...

It looks quite similar to my 1996 SE.
