2009 maxima-234k miles i was giving this car for an emergency situation and trying to fix it. It is now missing on a cylinder. So the cars intake is filling with oil. Was also full of sludge when I got it and changed oil a few times. There was a cup of more when taken apart. It will drive and when I get off highway and stop or quick turn it will slosh around I guess cause smoke is everywhere. Changed and inspected plugs. The middle rear or cylinder 3 had oil on all threads of plug. The others didn't. Nthe plug tube was clean on them . Not sure about cylinder 3. Anyhow. I read what to do and changed the PCV valve first. Nothing. Nephew said it started leaking only after he changed plugs and thinks it's the plug gaskets. Im going to change the valve cover gaskets and intake gaskets. As well as clean rear valve cover. These are the solutions I've read about. Anyone have ideas or know what might be causing this. I'm also thinking oil passages in head are clogged. But would that have these results? Chime in please and thanks guys. 234k miles so hoping it's not piston. Trying to drive from NY to Oklahoma for xmas
Oil on o rings

Replace the valve covers proper. They have new tube seals and gaskets. You will need some sealant for the corners. Mine also came with new pcv valve. Also take note of the condition of the hose running along the back. It tends to crack and leak.
That is usually via pcv/vacuum leaks. That rear hose/vacuum and pcv valve . Remember, new doesnt always mean goos. But as you have tube seal issues/leaks as well as vaccum/ pcv issues, replacing the valve covers and checking vaacum lines is still my reccomendation.
