Spent an hour today cleaning up the engine bay a bit. Noticed the area around cylinder 3 was a bit moist. Pulled the spark plug wire off and the tip had a ring of oil on it. I looked down the hole, and there were oil puddling around the sparkplug. The sparkplug is not loose or anything. Where else can the oil come from? The other 5 are dry. Thanks in advance

 

can you see and residue where the oil was dripping or anything? only thing i can think of is the valve cover is leaking a little bit. you can tighten those screws on top a little and see if that helps.

 

there was no residue in the oil, it was rather clean. but i'll tighten up the valve cover screws around that area, to see if that'll help. thanks for the reply.

 

yup.. 99% of the time, it's the valve covers.. no real way oil can leak in there like that.
