What's up with Carparts.com

Hey. I ordered a Pacesetter STS on January 10th. I e-mailed jcwhitney (who handles the order for carparts.com) about two weeks after I ordered it. They sent a reply saying since the STS comes from Pacesetter directly, it could take 3 to 4 weeks. It's been over 4 weeks. I sent JC Whitney another e-mail. They sent me the same response exactly. Some customer service, huh? How long did it take you guys to receive your STS from JC Whitney?

I ordered the headlight covers for my 95 max from CarParts.com, and when it arrived after one week... What do I find inside? some crap for a Chevy Silverado!
They sent me a return postage, so off it goes...
it's been almost one month...and still nothing. I sent them an e-mail, still no response!
What is wrong with JC Whitney!!!

Hey guys try www.car-parts.com you might have better luck and be able to save more money. The address appears to be the same but it is totally different. Besides there are other links for good specialized maxi parts. The people at J. C. Whitney are DONKEYS!!!

Nothing I bought from JC Whitney was right.

Dude I don't think they'll ever send it.. I ordered my Pacesetter STS from them a few months ago, and they've sent me a notice that they are out of stock, and I think it says they won't really be in stock.. They basically cancelled my order.. This may have something to do with the fact that SMC went out of business, and I've heard that Pacesetter and SMC shortshifters are the same product...

So what STS should I go with? I DON'T want to pay for a Stealin' one. They bend everyone over with their prices. What other brands are there?

There's also the one from Courtesy Nissan.. I saw your other post about the OBX shifter, hopefully someone who has it will answer it, because I need a shortshifter too.
