Maxima 16' Louder Exhaust
Maxima 16' Louder Exhaust
Hey guys,
Hope I won't get a lot of hate on my post here
I wanted to make my exhaust a bit louder without spending any money. Found this video and I wanted to hear your opinion and ask does those do any damage to the car in the long run?

Qualifier : I did not watch the entirety of the video (I just couldn’t do it), but I’m pretty sure I get the idea.
I’m not sure notable, long-term damage “to the vehicle” will result, but a significant concern associated with a leaky exhaust system is the possible impacts, and even long-term impacts, to vehicle occupants … CO and other components of internal combustion engine exhaust are not to be messed with.
I’m also hesitant to take seriously work undertaken in some parking lot and by someone who “don’t give a f**k” if penetrating oil is splattered hither-and-thither on their vehicle underbody … but that’s just me.
Do what you want, but if you’re looking to upgrade your exhaust without spending any $$, all I can say is good luck.

This is the equivalent of drilling holes in your exhaust pipe to make it louder. I agree with @Turbobink . Every time you are at a stop sign or traffic light, Carbon Monoxide will seep into your car. Yeah - you won't feel anything because CO is a silent killer. You will just get sleepy and won't wake up.
I was young once and I totally undestand why someone want a loud grumbling exhaust. But as I got older, I grew wiser. I realized that people looking at me were not doing it out of admiratioin. I was just annoying them.
If you still want a louder exhaust, do it the right way. Upgrade your muffler, exhaust or add a Cold Air Intake. Don't risk your life and others by following another so called expert on youtube - IMO.
