2010 Maxima S Radio Questions

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. I own a 2010 Maxima S base model with an amber orange radio screen. I am trying to keep the factory look of the car but also want more functionality out of the radio. I do not have satellite radio, a USB port, or an RCA port. I am looking to add Bluetooth to the radio or even a USB port to stream music. I also want to see if I could have a color screen radio installed. To keep the factory look of the interior of the car how can I get more functionality what can I add to get Bluetooth or a USB port?

I'm not positive on the radios in the base S model Maximas from 2010, but I would guess that the wiring harness would be the same as the next higher trimmed car from that year. I would think that you could buy a used radio off eBay, or your local pick n pull and go that route.

I have a 2010 SV and my radio has bluetooth, navigation, satellite radio if you subscribe, and you can also play a flash drive via usb on the radio. I forgot that it also has a 9.3gb hard drive that lets you record and store your cd's. This radio also has a DVD player built in and there's a hack you can do that will allow you to play your movies while driving.

There's one currently for sale on eBay for $84 with free shipping. If you don't want to go that route, I would then suggest you visit your local audio shop and see what they have to offer that will keep the factory look you want. But it will be way more expensive. These radios are easy to remove and replace.

Yes I found the radio bundle that came with the color screen the reciever, control panel, and the bezel that surrounds the screen for $40 today and bought it. Now what I am trying to figure out if I need a conversion kit for it to work cause there are 3 plugs in the back of my original radio and 6 plugs on the back of the radio I bought from the salvage yard.

I am now thinking if there is a way if I could switch out the Bluetooth hands free calling control module for a Bluetooth streaming module out of a 11+ Maxima.

Do a YouTube video search for the radio, it's been roughly 9+ yrs since I messed with mine, but I vaguely remember that you don't need to use all the plugs on the back of the head unit. If you do decide to tackle it I suggest you take plenty of pictures because one harness in fact will plug into 2 different locations and of course you'll want to make sure you plug it into the right one during reassembly.

Ok I will look for some videos. One question, since my car is not equipped with Bose would I need to add any extra incase it hinders the radio from working?
