2007 Maxima 130k NTSB ABS Module (Limp Mode)

I have anouther thread started in 2022 regarding the dreaded ABS module Failures.

This is a general update

In 2022 Nissan had me replace everything related to the ABS system. By everything I mean everything including a JY ABS controller. As many recent posts have stated, the ABS controller gets burned when the rear hubs do not drain correctly. The NTSB fix is to hog out the faulty drain channel.

So the Car drove good for 6 months, then recently went back into limp mode. In next days the limp mode came and went.

I debated to replace the ABS controller with anouther JY special but my mechanic advised me that this time the issue could be the CAN communications given on off conditions. Sure enough after pulling the manifold to gain access to the ABS wire harness, the pin outs are all verified as having power on the CAN.

Reset the ABS connector and all looked good. Then within 15 minutes of driving lost communication again.

After wiggling the connector CAN communication came back and then went off again.

So what I have is a faulty connector with fully functional pinout connections to the CAN.

I am ok without the ABS, but I need to find away to prevent the activation of the limp mode.

I am trying to research options to pull the terminals from existing connector and replace the conenctor.

I would prefer a new connector and not a JY connector.

Does anyone know of availabilty of the harness connector that plugs into the ABS Module?

I have a couple leads online at connectorexperts.com for over $100.

Also, how difficult would this be given this looks to be a 40 pin+ connector.
