For the automatic transmission, a plastic shroud below the **** itself locks to the **** with a "U" pin. This same pin locks the **** itself in place as well. My plastic shroud has been sheered, where it no longer stays together with the **** and the "U" pin. I am currently looking for a OEM shift **** and shroud set, but they seem hard to come buy.

My question for those more knowledgeable, does the 5th gen and/or 7th gen share the same assembly as the 6th gen. My goal is to cross shop 5th/7th gen shifters that might be more available.
