whats wrong w/ my car?

somethings wrong w/ my car. it just came from the port yesterday, and so i drove it off.a few hours later, it feels like all of a sudden it pops to neutrel and then back to drive, my car's an automatic. people tell me it might be the trassmission fluid, and i checked and its still good. then this morning i wanted to see it had the same problem, so started the car backed up, put it on drive and i wouldnt go, so then i put it on 1st gear and there was no tork but it was moving real slow. can anybody help me out please? thanks

Re: whats wrong w/ my car?

sounds like your tranny is dying.....same symptoms of my 2nd rebuild! get the fluid changed and see if there is a difference...

Check your bushings for your gear shift.

Get it checked out be by a mechanic first. Most tranny places will do a free estimate around where i live in CA. Beats spending your time and $$ on trying to fix something that may not really be the issue.

ouch that sucks, I feel for you, been there 3 times!!!*knock on wood* well if you're gonna rebuild get one from here, I've heard as low as $775 + shipping -->

http://www.phoenixhardparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv

then about $50 for a cooler and $500 for the install you figure you spent about $1300-1500, not too shabby!
