Power Steering Rack and Pinion

Hi everyone. I’m new here. So my rack and pinions are gone. I thought I just needed new tie rods, but when I removed the driver side steering rack boots, a whole lot of power steering fluid just leaked out. I’m a newly DIY guy. I was planning on ordering a rack assembly from Carparts.com I saw for around $400. However, it says no Evo coming with it. I’m not even sure what the evo part is from if. Whatever it is though, would I be able to remove it off from the old one and switch it over? Any hello would be great. Thank You!

Get 1 from junkyard

When I replaced my rack and pinion i got it from pull a part for like 80 bucks. I could've found a cheap aftermarket like you are looking at but you don't want anything other than a Nissan rack, even if the price is enticing and includes Evo. I have a 2009 and got the rack from a 2014. Two years ago and still no problems. Try pull a part or order from a company called LKQ, they guarantee a working part with a warranty included. Rack is simply hydraulic so even if it's used, so if you stay on top of changing your power steering fluid regularly and tie rod replacements, you'll never have problems from it as long as you own it
