Nissan Max'91 SE with ABS

Tonight I went to visit my friend, I found the Anti-lock light came on and the car vibrates when I stop my car before the traffic light. But both of them disappear when I drive car.

To my disappointed is that I could not start my car when I would come back. I did not hear any sound from starter or motor when I try to start my car. I only can hear weak sound and some lights {"door" "oil" ...} flash.

By the way, I changed all brake pad a few days ago and washed my car today.

Does any body know what is wrong with my car and how to fix it.

dunno, you didnt wash you ECU did you??

 

it might not be the same problem but recently i bought a new starter($150) and installed it and it still wouldnt start, i found out it was battery cables, they were caroded(sp?) so replaced them for 10 bicks and it started right up, wasted 150 on a new starter

 

sounds like you got yourself an electrical problem

 

Could you tell me what is ECU?

Actually my defog lights are broken and I took them off and used tape to cover the plugs. Now I am wondering if water get in somewhere from these plug.

Friend i had the same problem and it was an electrical problem, i had to get my entire electrical system done, it came out to about 150 dollars. but check into it, go to a mechanic shop and ask them to see whats wrong with it, say its your girls car or somethin so they can check it for free. IF u live in teh NY area around Queens or Brooklyn i could probably help you get it fixed for cheap
