My 2017 Maxima SR was Stolen, No Nissan Connect

Unfortunately my model didn't come with Nissan Connect Services as its navigation was SD card based so my options for tracking are limited. I've already reported it stolen to authorities and insurance but wanted to ask if anyone else had knowledge of other options I can explore to recover the vehicle. Fully paid it off in February after 7 years and couldn't even enjoy a full year without making car payments smh. Has anyone else had to go through a something similar and if so, what was the outcome?

check for facebook stolen car groups in your area. we have one here that is very good at finding vehicles.

do NOT, under any circumstances, pay for a "tracking service" that can supposedly find your car. theyre ALL a scam. anyone that wants you to go to some random car tracking page on instagram will be a scam.

I thought Nissan Connect services for the 2017 model stopped working because of the 3G modem the car used. I know my 2017 can no longer connect to the service. Unless there is some other means of detecting the car, Nissan Connect wouldn't have been much help, unless I’m mistaken.

Thanks, I'll check Facebook. Crazy thing is I thought to place an airtag in it after paying it down but kept putting it off, lesson learned.

You're probably right. I never paid for the subscription after the trial but figured it was worth a shot.
