Fuse box under hood

So ive never had a car that the fusebox is upside down.. like usually you take the cover off and can see all your fuses.. well in my 2016 nissan maxima platinum the fuse box is literally the part that comes off.. but theres not enough wire to actually flip it upside down to see the fuses.. can I unplug some wires to be able to do this without messing things up or whats the best way to see the fuses? Help!

Do you mean the Intelligent Power Distribution Module (IPDM)?

If you want to unplug the wiring harnesses, just disconnect the negative battery cable before you start and reconnect the negative battery cable after you've plugged the wiring harnesses back in.

Yes!

Thats what im talking about! Sorry I had to look it up. Lol i know a little about cars, because ive taught myself.. no mechanic.. but ive learned the basics, oil changes, other fluids, alternator changes, pulleys, tires, and a few other odds and ends.. so as long as I remove the negative cable from battery, I can remove any or all of the wiring harnesses as long as I plug them back in and then hook the negative back up? And nothing will mess up?

Yep, just keep the negative battery cable disconnected while you're working on it.

I replaced the IPDM on my 2016 Maxima SV with one from a junked 2017 Maxima SV a few months ago with no issues:
