Sunroof 2017 Platinum

My vehicle has two sunroofs.

One in the back and one in the front. The one in the back works fine; opens and closes and the shade cover closes and opens as well.

The problem is with the front sunroof. It opens and closes and tilts, but the shade cover does not come forward and close.

Both the front and rear shade covers are on a roller inside the sunroof. They unroll to come out and give shade to the glass sunroof.

The problem is the front shade covers not unrolling and sliding towards the front of the car.

Anyone out there have a similar problem that they fixed or knows about this problem ?

Most likely off track or the roller cover is ripped apart and coiled up into the roller. do you noticed the front track roll to the front and back when you activate the switch?

my rear curtain was ripped apart when I bought car (used). No biggie, ordered the OEM part from Saudi (yes, all way from there off eBay for a little over $200), and buddy installed for $100.
Stealership want $900 to $1200 for roller only.

local shop was going to charge close to $2k for their labor. liner is tricky to pull down, especially close to the windshield, could break the clips.

holler back for more chimes
