About two weeks ago not the sunroof, but the cardboard sunroof shield has come off the track. Is there a easy way to fix this myself or am i screwed? Any info would be helpful, thanks

 

do you mean the finisher plate ?

 

if the finisher is the piece that is under that sunroof that slides open and shut then yea i am. it came off the tracks

 

hahah my cardboard little sunroof sheild has been shot ever since I had my max.. it takes about 5 min. to get it to slide in or out. It doesnt bother me though cause I always leave it off, if you got a sunroof, why cover it up?

 

I just wish that I had a sunroof on my car.

 

should i take this to the dealer, or does anyone know if i can fix it myself?

 

if there are no broken guides you can try to put them back
in the rail .
if you have a broken guide (attached on the finnisher plate)
you have to take of the sunroofglass.
better bring it to a specialist sunroof dealer.
if you can get new guides let me know,mine are broken
and over here i can not find a finisher plate or the guides.
i can send you a drawing of the sunroof if you
interested.
