Seat Belts?

With my 2002, many parts are no longer available, like today, my seatbelt buckle!! And the seatbelt itself is on back order. Both are under warranty, but who knows if Nissan will honor the warranty, and how? The buckle I MAY be able to buy, but will they reimburse for labor etc? This is a bunch of crap.

Where are people finding their parts in general now?

Part number

86885-3Y101 (actualy seatbelt on backorder)

86843-3Y101 (buckle)

I feel like any day I'll need some stupid part, that is necessary, but then I'll have to junk the car that is in great shape simply because parts are not available!!

Thanks in advance for any advice.

HAH, no I definitely won't. But driving without a seat belt-- risky if an accident happens..ugh, this is such a pain.

If I can't find a seatbelt, I'm not sure what I'll do

While I'm looking for a seat buckle. The pants button is still in the slot of the buckle, quite firmly. What might be the best way to try and remove it??

How did you even get the seatbelt??

What sucks is the parts are still under warranty, and Nissan won't comp the dealer for even the labor to replace the parts if I were to buy them!!!! It's such crap!!

In the meantime I cannot get this stupid button out of the driver side buckle! I tried NissanPartsDeal, but they canceled my order after a few days stating the buckle is no longer available. YET, it's still up on their site!

Junkyard seat belt bucke? or switch to the 2000-2001 buckle. I don't think they should be too different no? 86842-2Y002, more widely available as it was used in more years.

Can you get a small saw blade in there to cut the nub behind the button, to make it 2 pieces? Then Maybe you can get them out individually.
