Here are a couple of new videos from last Friday night at MMP.....

That was the WORST traction I recall ever encountering at a drag strip.

It felt like launching in the rain. The best 60' times I could muster were high 2.2-2.3's! Even so I ran a few 14.4's with a best m.p.h. of 95+. I had to launch at partial throttle, then get into easily as I got rolling good.

I am going to Steele on Friday night, where traction has been noticably better, and I hope to drop that E.T. and raise my m.p.h. to a 14.2@96+. I am thinking that a good launch would have put me there easily. There was a group of us, but most left early because of the track conditions being so bad.

Here are two videos of Ed and I,(Maximus1000), running. Eds Prelude has a Mugen Exhaust, Header, AEM CAI, & VAFC. He ran a best of 14.5@95+ that night, and on these two runs I ran a 14.4 to his 14.8.

We have a re-match on Friday at Steele.

Ain't a thing but a chicken wing.

Nice videos and runs. Good sound and pretty good camera work!

I would, but that was a really bad run for him. If he says he doesn't mind I will.

3/10ths is alot of time to take off of what was essentially a perfect 1/4 mile run.

Sory to hear about your car. When are you going to the track next? I wanna go within the next month, will your car be fixed? Im sure Brian, Simon, and Adam will go also. If your interested in April, Great Lakes Dragaway has free racing for the first week. Here is the link http://www.greatlakesdragaway.com/2002schedule.htm.

Hey, go ahead and post that video of me and the Viper. It was a bad night at the track for everyone on street tires. I know my car can do better, and it has.
