FrankenCar intakes for 2k-2k1 ready to go

Ok we are ready to start shipping out intakes for 2000-2001 Maximas and I30's starting wednesday. We will have blue and silver ones and they use the same components and Genuine K/N filters as out 2002's that everyone loves. The price is 144.99 plus shipping of 10 dollars, the price difference is due to an extra hole and a couple welds, just enough tto cover costs. The installation is pretty much the same BUT ONE BIG DIFFERENCE. It's not hard to do and we will tell you up front, that in order to get the Air Temp sensor in the path of moving air where it should be you have to cut open a wire loom that run along side the battery, very easy to do and take the slack out of it so the sensor fits into the whole. it took me 5 minutes to think it up, do it and seal it back up, not a big deal at all. just letting everyone know. there is also a link for the address for money orders now on the site. any questions please don't hesisate to ask, steve@frankencar.com and i will get back to you asap, usually i'm on all night.

the paypal link is up on the site now also, please specify color when you order.

also to all those that emailed, i lost all my old emails. i got a new pc cus the old one and lost them. i apoligize.

i actually did the proto-type last night. sounds nice, damn 4th gen 5-spds are a lot different then my 2k2 6-spd. from now on anyone who tells me that they missed the 2-3 i'm jjust gonna say they are an idiot. SO MUCH EASIER then a 2k2 to do that shift.

i might slap one on lime's car friday if i go down to see her right now i have the rams but the adapters need to get machined. he had to ghetto rig the one i did last night. he's my friend though, he didn't car. we found out that the 2k2 adapter fits if you put it diagonally in 2 hole only

4TH gen

I can't wait for the 4th gen to come out. I want a new intake so bad. You have my business as soon as they are out.

I think it will be a while (march?)

I emailed steve a few weeks ago about the availabilty of the 4th. He said he was working on it and would be going through testing soon. He said March I think. I am willing to wait. I dont want to have to cut a hole in my Maxima for a CAI.

Just bought one!

Now comes the long part...
Shipping to Canada = WAIT forever (you would think we are at the end of the world)!

Steve, how much for just the 2k-2k1 intake tube with instructions? Also I think it's been asked and the answer was affirmative, woul it work with an existing filter from a stillen or JWT pop intake? Would we need your bracket or the bracket provided with one of the aforementioned items? Keep me up to date and thanks for the good work.

ok here we go

maxjp-yes they are, email me at steve@frankencar.com for more details.

nmexmax-yes they do, they are almost 2 inches longer then needed.

yoritomo-yes it will work with a stillen or JWT and you won't even need the bracket.

everyone with 4th gen- they will be out maybe by the end of this month. if not RIGHT in the beginning of march.

ok here's prices for just the piping.

2002-$60 shipped to the US
2000-2001 $65 shipped to US
email for canada shipping, about 10 bucks more.

I just checked out the website, and I was wondering if you had any pictures of the blue intake for the 2K-2K1. I saw the silver one but didn't see the blue one.
