exhaust set-up for maximum hp and tq (cost not a factor)

ive read a few posts on reasonable price and inexpensive exhaust set-up, but im trying to figure out what the best exhaust set-up is for maximum gains in horsepower and torque- regardless of how much it cost; but no i dont want to run straight pipes incase someone wants to suggest that, im thinking maybe cattman ss y-pipe and rt cat, but from there what is best? greddy sp, stillen b-pipe with muffler, apex-1 WS, etc..??
Thanks,
Tom

B-pipes dont offer much perf. if any, so whichever you like more, greddy, apexi whatever.

Might wanna wait a bit too because warpspeed Performance is coming out with a new Bpipe for us. You might wanna see how that comes out too before you only look into greddy or apexi.

Also Budget Exhaust has a cat-back system coming out I believe. I definately like the look of the muffler on it. I'd like to try it out when it's done.

Your best exhaust setup for max power and torque is a turbo.

im disappointed, i was hoping that someone would just type out a list of products that were the best and dynoed to give the best gains out of all the possible combinations, im sure someone has taken the time to do this over the past few years??

an exhaust is an exhaust..it does the same thing...as long as it's straight through...from what i heard.... stillen, greddy, apexi, all make little more than no name brand exhaust...hope that helps...b-pipe helps if you are running force induction...it's actually a need!

Like everyone said it basicly all functions the same. Basicly if you want it louder go greddy if you want it a bit easier on the ears go apexi or someone else.

Seriously, no one is going to dyno different exhaust pieces that only have maybe 1-3 hp differences inbetween the worst/best. Not at $50 or whatever a pull. And to top it off, most people don't have the same set-up so results will vary.

A turbo would definitely dyno the best.

exhaust does not help out much - for best gains(bolt on's) y pipe and cai are the best way

If you want gains get a Y pipe. If you want noise get a catback. There's little or no difference between all the brands and custom jobs.

Tom,
Just do what we discussed. Get a Warpspeed y-pipe for $225, have a muffler shop make you a b pipe (cheaper) and keep your stock muffler. No noise and maximum power from n/a exhaust. Add an intake for another 4-5 hp.
If you want noise I will trade my greddy muffler for your stock and you can weld it to your b pipe.

That way I can get a y-pipe with out all the noise.
