Some Body nailed my car today

I walked out of class, and low and behold theres this 6"x2" red gash on my green car with parts missing paint and the license plate was bent. Of course, there is no note, and nobody saw it. I filed a report with campus police and then the real police department. It wasnt even a report done, just to have on file. Anyway I gotta think of what I'm gonna do next if I were to. I'm not really mad cause I really dont care about my car that much. Infact I'm more bothered that my vanity license tag got ruined rather then the car. So I gotta decide if I'm going to report it to insurance or not.

I guess I'll look the next time I have class somebody with a red car who has my green paint on it.

Don't you have comprehensive coverage? I guess you either don't, or have a high deductable.

My little incident happened last tuesday. Well our classes at school run a tuesday/friday schedule, and today is friday, so there is a good chance whoever nailed my car will be there again. So this means I am going to comb the parking lot for a red car. I searched the lot yesterday and saw an older late 80s red prelude that was red that had damage to its rear corner bumper, but I looked closely at the paint and could not see any of my paint on there.

If I do find the car that hit me, and it still has my green paint on it, I am going to take pictures of the car, and then leave a note saying "Call me with your insurance information now, otherwise I am calling the police on hit and run. I have pictures of my green paint on your red car documented to prove it."
