I saw one yesterday. Pearl White (clean paint and bumpers), auto, tan heated power leather, moonroof, BOSE, spoiler, no fogs, 69K miles. The guy was asking $7200 Neg (Meaning $6500 or so). I really despise the 95-96 styling but I could probably pick it up for half the price of a nice 97 SE so it got me thinking. The thing that disturbs me the most is the chrome around each wheel well, its pretty wide and just flat out hideous. Do you guys think its possible to remove with no trace? I also wanted to know if the starter problem was fixed by 96? Also, the trunk lid doesnt line up about a quarter inch, but is barely noticeable, wondering if anyone here has that problem without ever being in an accident. Thanks in advance.

 

chrome around the wheel well? I dont know too much about the gle style but i would think that the person that has the car put it on himself? thats just a thought.....what is this "starter" problem you mention, i bought a used 96 se and i have no problems with the starter....oh, in case you didnt see earlier....you are looking at a GLE not an SE, look at the guages next time, i guarantee they are not white...spoilers dont come stock on that either, so if it does have one, you should also have the third light in the rear window...and, if memory serves me right, gle's dont come with fog lights either, i believe that was only available to the SE package......
