i heard u use a file. but i dont get how u do it? do i take a file and just file down the ***? if so which one or do i do both? and how far do i file down?

 

file down the lower one so its hardly there, and will fit in the socket backwards.

 

I used nail clippers to clip off the upper ****. It fits in backwards this way too.

Just be sure to leave one of them on there I guess.

 

Upper ****, closer to the glass bulb. File, nail clipper, what ever you wish.

this may sound stupid but how do u get the bulb out..do u have to remove that plastic piece on the passengerside thats over the corner

 

thanks alot guys. i got it. do any of u guys have the foglight mod? because i noticed that my driver side corner lens (on the side of the headlight) is dimmer then the driver side? anyone know how to fix this? i think the foglight mod is stealing power from the corner lens some how. thanks alot.

 

if i *** the 1156 for the taillights would they go brighter 2?

 

Doesnt the 1156 just have one wattage value?
